Kevin, it’s times like this where asking others to stand with you is the best idea ever. Just like Moses when he had others holding up his arms in support. (Exodus 17:12) Where you have no strength to pray, let me stand in the gap and speak requests and blessings for you. I stand with you in believing God WILL restore your strength and bring healing to your family in every situation. He will take you into a new season where you will be encouraged and blessed. Thank you for your writings and podcasts, they bless me with their realness.

Thanks Jan. You are right fellowship is so helpful. We don’t have to go through these moments alone, though that tends to be our natural reaction. God has created relationship in our lives so we can help each other along the path. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. You are a blessing.

Wow Kevin, this just really hit home with me. I especially love your turn of phrase “listening to prayer if I cannot speak it”. You have so much to give, and you always give it, and then some. It’s ok – even healthy – to embrace the funk, I think, for a while. But you’re right; that can make it so hard to shake it off.

Gratitude us everything. And you have it in spades. This writing is like tapping into that, and helps me feel like I can do the same. Sending you a big fat dose of “You got this!” Love you.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step, my friend. And when all else fails, as Doris would say, “just keep swimming”. Where there is movement, there is life. Where there is life, there is always hope.
Ok, I’ll stop with the cliches. Take care and good luck, my friend. If you need talk, I’m a good listener and I can keep a secret. Unfortunately, some the the people that I tell, can’t. Lol.
